The World’s Least Interesting Master Swordsman

Sansui Shirokuro is a young guy with an old man’s name, which ends up landing him in tragic circumstances when God snuffs out his life candle after mistaking him for a geezer whose time has passed. Now reincarnated into a fantasy world, Sansui is one of the Immortals, capable of immense power… as long as he’s willing to put centuries of work into achieving it. One day, after five hundred years of swinging his sword, his monotonous existence is upended entirely by the appearance of a little baby. His master sends him out into the world to raise the child, and it’s there that he meets a haughty young noblewoman and her tomboyish bodyguard. His fighting style may be bland and unpretentious, but the fast-paced mortal world is about to find out just how good even the most hopeless swordsman can get with half a millennium of practice behind him!

  • i don’t know man, sometimes i think japanese do have an unreasonable taste like why would you read story with a doormat as it’s MC?like you know all that isekai and fantasy stuff is basically wish fulfillment type of novel right?that’s why we can substitute as an MC in their story, but this?would anyone read this and think “i wish i’m the MC”?and this novel still going strong until now speak more how their taste are weird…

  • @Ao dunno man, but todays and nowadays name standard sure has becoming wild, eh?

  • Know of many women called Gertrude nowadays?

  • How does having an old game’s name actually work? It’s not like name’s change with age.

  • volume 5 has its antagonist being nerf so much you actually ask the author sanity as to why he even wrote all this.

    i fu***** hate the author.

  • Honestly, the novel itself is quite bad, to the point that I actually dropped it at volume 2. Character development is basically non-existent and the MC, true to its title, is actually the least interesting character in the story. Even the romance feels forced AF and basically comes out of nowhere. Most characters are mostly unlikable too…

  • Volume 3 was good and bad, they spent alot of time explaining why they have to kill women and children so much it made me sick

  • Does this feel like just a summary instead of a actual novel? the structure of this is really weird, its like someone read the manga then tried to write a summary of it
