Oh, vol. 4 is already the last according to the afterword. Or is there coming more? The story is only half finished, or more like the 1st arc was over, and the “five years later, everyone lives happily ever after”-chapter felt really tagged on.
I would be sad, I really enjoyed reading it and I hate such half-baked conclusions. They just defeated one enemy but the evil organization that wants to destroy the world has many more bad guys to offer, especially some who actually were already introduced.
Hiatus since 2017 for the LN, 2019 for the WN. I doubt it’s continuing.

if u look at the original publisher it says Sol Press which explains why no vol 2. also Official J-Novel Club just picked this up and rereleased volume 1 on jan 16th 2023. vol 2 is set to come out 04-14-23
Just don’t read this, it’s not that great. and it’s been on hiatus since 2017, so it’s pretty much dead.
The first half where he leads a pirate gang is sorta interesting, how often do you see pirates in shitty isekai? But then it becomes your usual bland isekai crap.
