What is it about?
Otome mob is another isekai story where the mc is transported into an otome game world. Yes, the otome game, where most of the guys are cool, sparky, princes, or high-rank nobles.
But MC is not one of those sparky princes, but just a single mob character, or so he said.

A mob character?
Yes, a mob. Mob characters are those characters in novel/games where the author wont bother to give name to. For example, in the game, there would be Bandit A B C D, or in the novel, there are usually thug A B C, or villager D E F. So in other words, unimportant characters.

Oh, one of those quirky characters. So how is he?
Leon, the mc is actually not bad of a character, IF, this is a generic isekai story. But he claims himself as a mob, however, he always does something that no mob character would do.
He said he is just a side character but always actively making a big fuss of everything and becoming the center of attention.
He is the type of person who would become a treant and kill everyone when tasked to be a tree.


Boobies, what about the boobies.
There are about 3 important female characters so far. The first one is Heroine A, which is supposedly to be the main heroine of the otome games. She is cute, and smart. But she has inferiority issue for being a commoner. And then there is Noble Girl B, who is the duke daughter. Being a noble, and a daughter of a duke at that, she belittles Mc at first, but after being her Knight in jet black armor, she warms up on him and become of of his harem candidate. And lastly we have Villain C, who is another isekai’ed japanese person. She knows the game and actively trying to take the main heroine role in the game, and effectively captured all of the capture targets.
Villain C really took my interest as we rarely have another isekai’ed character as a villain, and im wondering how their relationship gonna develop.

Verdicts
Otome mob is a generic isekai novel.. Not great, not terrible. It fails however to assimilate the mc into a mob characters.
Dont expect the mc to be like keima from lazy dungeon master. He is as OP as kirito, as loud as Asta
