If you’re looking for Cinderella story set in Japan with supernatural twist and don’t mind cliches and damsel in distress FL, this story isn’t bad. I know plenty of women who enjoy the anime. I prefer stronger FL though, so it’s not my cup of tea.
What bothers me the most was the fact that what sets FL apart from ML’s previous fiancees–and he finds agreeable–was behavior that stems from abuse (doesn’t protest, stay quiet and low profile etc).

literally a cinderella story carried by the male lead
its not horrible writing wise, (what a shocker) but its not like mind blowing either
however, given the mass amount of crap quality for shoujou this one is a bit on the better side

Well shoujo sometimes have good stuff but only if protagonist is proactive. Is it that way in this?
So is this any good? The synopsis sounds quite interesting but i really can’t deal with Shoujo series any more the mcs always meander and more useless then even isekai protagonists and the MLs are always so creepy.
Is this worth reading ? Decente development?
The web novel reviews seem decent, but do keep in mind its shoujo.
