A man was about to commit suicide and decided to search for a way to die on the internet, but then he found an odd site that asked a lot of questions and had a point based system that allows you to create skills for a character. He took interest in it, and when he was done setting his character, he was asked, “You will now be transported to a world with the settings you chose. Coming back is not possible. Do you still accept?” Without thinking much of it, he pressed YES and found himself in another world with the skills he chose to have.

Hi administrators, I just want to let you know in case you haven’t noticed, that Volume 5 translation is finished.
Thank you very much for your work.
Either the author or the translator is a mememaster because the story reads like it was written by an edgy 20-30 year old who still thinks he’s a teenager. It does get quite cringey when you come across words like UwU, but those are thankfully few and far between.
Man oh man wat a mess this is. This piece of writing is so sloppy. The biggest issue; all of the inconsistencies. And on top of that there are countless typo’s to annoy you but that’s an issue with the translation.
There is more to complain about like all the useless and usually obvious long winded tangents in between lines of dialog. Not to mention the excessive focus on the mundane. I don’t know how often they went clothes shopping for instance and telling the reader about it in excruciating detail (yet they never seem to cut their hair btw). Even the non mundane dungeoneering is mostly an account of boring old low level monster slaying. And there is so little progress, at character level 30+ they’re still fighting sub level 10 monsters. Then there is the discrepancy in the number of labyrinth levels. Apparently the minimum is set at 50 for new labyrinths although there is some inconsistency there too and the highest anyone ever went is level 91. Yet all this time of leveling up they haven’t even gotten pas the 8th floor (4th volume). I mean usually you can challenge monsters that are slightly above your own level and then by overcoming that challenge you level up.
The underlying game like system of that world is wonky too. We have spells that require chanting and use mana. And then there are skills that use… also mana and also require chanting. Makes sense right? [sarcasm]
It’s also idiotic in a “real” world to have job title based restrictions like some bad computer game. Like how someone using the mage job title can use a fireball spell but then can’t do it anymore after a job change even though all that is required to use spells is to properly say the words of the incantation and a sufficient amount of mana. Why would that be job dependent!? Anyone should be able to do any spell as long as they do the incantation right and have sufficient mana for the spell. By the way running out of mana makes you (suicide levels) depressed in this story which is a ridiculous handicap top place on such an important resource of a fantasy world. Especially since it seems to already effect your mind when you still have 50% or so in the tank.
I won’t keep complaining much longer but coming from he 4th volume right now I just have to vent some frustrations of that volume in particular. By the way I wouldn’t be complaining so much if the story in and of itself didn’t have potential but it’s just so frustrating not seeing it reach that potential.
With the acquisition of his second harem member (second sex slave basically) the author thought it a good idea to up the ridiculous keeping things secret antics. So for instance there was this misunderstanding as to what construes movement magic vs space time magic which turned out to be a matter of moving from one time zone into another and instead of explaining it to his friggin’ life or death dungeoneering companion he just goes never mind lets just keep her in the dark. I mean I was looking forward to an explanation with a fireball above one palm representing the sun and some fruit in the other showing how time zones work. But nooooo. And we see the same secrecy antics angan and again after that because for some reason he is keeping his skills and abilities all to himself, what the hell is wrong with that douchecanoe. Or rather the author really.
Oh and all the erotic stuff is not even at the level of softcore so kinda pointless to even include it, I also doubt the author has ever touched a member of the opposite sex irl, he does seem to have touched a few pets here and there though.
As for giving it a rating 5/10 I guess.
