Since the anime has started I started reading this series. There are plenty unsatisfying parts but strangely it still invites you to keep on reading (I’ll give the series 6.2/10). I’m at vol 8 now we’ve seen monsters, demons (that actually fit the term as in non corporeal evil entities well semi non corporeal), beasts, dragons (actually only one so far) and now there are aliens.
Anyway apparently there are translations up to vol 11. Will they show up here? I just found 10 elsewhere.
By the way are any of these going to show up here at some point?

based of the Anime this is very popular and i have absolutely no clue why, the title is the most bland generic thing i have ever heard of and is a dime a dozen, so why is this bland & generic story so fucking popular? can someone explain what exactly is the hook or the draw?
Honestly, I’m not sure. I started watching the show with my little brother and, while there’s almost nothing notable or original about any of the characters or story beats, I found myself kind of enjoying it. I guess it’s just mediocre enough in every way that it never really gets terrible. I wouldn’t understand this being anyone’s favorite series, but I think I get its general popularity. It’s the Nickelback of anime.
Sadly no. I think this is the Authors first LN, the premise starts out great, but as the story continues, it gets dumb and dummer, and the starting premise becomes mute. MC is a complete idiot with overpowered abilities, every single female character wants to bone him just because he was nice to them ONE time. Story starts out with him being a loser, but after he gets his powers he becomes the center of attention in every event (even in things he has no business doing). It’s like Miku’s (Author) self inserting himself in this wet dream of his. Because it’s clear this guy seriously needs to touch some grass, because he has no idea how people interact. Every other character would have a convo with the MC, and he’ll just reply with a short sentence to one word response (in a constant self doubting tone) and some how the story will move along with that. Bottom line, if you like to read about how if you were the mc and everything works out for you no matter how dumb it is, with little effort from your end. You’ll enjoy it. But I read up to vol. 13 (because i hate myself) the writing gets frustratingly worse with each volume after vol 6.

I am on book 5, and I get that he was really badly bullied, but I wish he would one grow a pair and two learn to say no more often. He still let’s people walk all over him, even his supposed friends, and he worries over absolutely everything, even things unrelated to him. I just wish he would be less of a pussy all the time, it’s book 5 surely it’s time for some character development (especially in his personality)?
