Apocalypse Bringer Mynoghra

It is safe to say that most of Takuto’s life was spent in the hospital room.

Every day is a series of inspections, and there is almost no time to rest.

The only place where he could find his own worth was inside the well-known nationwide simulation game “Eternal Nations”.

A game that uses various races and nations that exist in the fantasy world to conquer the world.

Yes, he was proud of having achieved the highest difficulty level of “Eternal Nations”, which was said to be impossible for people to clear the game using “Mynoghra”, the most difficult state to use.

Among the players, he is legendary, and of all that because of the existence of a girl in front of him–a unit called Atou.

“I don’t know where this is. It might be the world of “Eternal Nations,” it might be the real world where Takuto-sama was, or maybe a totally different world, but just like those days…… Let’s start with just two of us. Let’s create our own kingdom.”

  • Volume 6 out when?

  • Grant me the Dark PDF oh Ancient ones

  • Very interesting and imaginative LN. The enemies always come from different games and play by different rules so it is interesting how the MC in the end manages to beat them, often by using their own games’ rules against them.

The story switches between action and drama with the occasional typical comedy skits thrown in to lighten up the atmosphere. The general atmosphere is more serious, dark and cruel so the reader must like that there are clashing comedy moments.

The big picture here is that basically a ton of bored gods turned this world into a battlefield by throwing in resurrected dead humans who can then have a real life taste of the game they used to play on earth with the endgoal that one of them conquers the world (and most likely destroy it in the process so the gods can move on to the next one and start anew).
So my guess is, in later novels (many, many years and volumes ahead from now) the real fight against the gods has to start at some point and that’s where the real story starts off. Currently everyone, every enemy, is a victim in the end. So it’s not really a fun battle knowing that, no matter how interesting.

  • As of volume 5 the things happening in it are really interesting. Hope future volume would be as good or even better than this. This volume actually makes me really like the enemy of the main character and want them to work together somehow even if it’s impossible. Great work for making me feel this way. Idk if anyone felt that way but I like it when they make me feel this conflicted. I would probably say volume 5 is the best volume so far but that might be my recently bais but hey that’s how I feel as of right now

  • Don’t listen to CommentingCommentCommenter, this series is great and definitely interesting. Volume 6, we will be there no matter what. I enjoy the different systems interacting with each other and nice unique ways problems get solved. The subverting expectations part is definitely right though. Let’s hope it keeps up this enjoyable momentum

  • Reading up to Vol 5 reveals that

    A. Characters and writing are kinda okay to decent, compared to other LN ive read.
At least there is actual motivation and ethics for everyone, instead of “I am lawful good, you must die” stereotypes.

    B. Cliffhangers appear, but not in every Volume. Expectations are subverted on a semi-regular basis, though.

    C. As of Vol 5, im not too interested anymore. There is a minor reveal about “Higher powers” doing things to the MC in the last chapters of Vol 5, and depending on how that is handled in later volumes, it will most likely completely negate my interest.
(There is that Swarm something LN which was fun to read till higher powers were shown to actively fuck over the MC for their game, and Vol 5 of this LN seems to indicate the same is happening. Though this LN also subverts expectations for several plot-things.)

  • Damnn!! Volume 4 leaving me with such a big cliffhanger.. when will vol 5 released??

  • As of reading volume 4 this series is really good at making cliff hangers man. Pretty good if you are fine with a bit of tropes. Volume 4 ending really made me mad so much that I’m leaving a message because of how hyped I was at the end when I finished it. I know I will have to wait more than half of year for the next volume at least so I’m putting all my hype here. Good stuff and hope that it continues it.

    • thanks for telling your story, it helps alot. I was about to continue reading this after I judged maybe this vol 4 wont be so bad, but maybe it was after all. I wish they didn’t do stuff like a cliffhanger; that thing just ruined my mood.

  • I liked the first two books; third one ends with MC deciding to use his OP cheat to mass produce modern weaponry thereby eliminating the whole point of being the “weakest/hardest” civ to use along with all my interest. I hate it when good fantasy gets ruined by an MC introducing guns to a perfectly fine sword, board and magic setting.

  • That eroge faction is OP as heck. As expected of porn-logic.

  • Since the vol 3 of this is in the rejected list on the discord, does it mean it will never be published here ?

    Thank the site btw

  • OHHHH THE MASTERPICE GOT VOLUME 2

    hype for volume 3

  • i mean more haha

  • Really enjoyed this novel, wish soon will come out soon!!!

  • that art style seems familiar…
pixiv photos of that girl just eating and eating…?

  • I was actually surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. The pacing felt nice, and I really like the nation building aspects. I enjoyed how the characters interacted with each other, and although they aren’t deeply written characters, they were still likeable.

If you like nation building/ strategy focused books like Her Majetsty’s Swam, Reincarnated as a Slime, or Fushi no Kami, I recommend this read! I hope the 2nd volume comes soon

  • Thoroughly enjoyed this LN though it seemed real short. Reminds me of a similar one that was based on an RTS instead of 4X but with a female protagonist, but much more enjoyable. Looks like ample room for the series to grow with politics, character interplay, civilization building etc. The relationship between the 2 main characters is great and it will be interesting seeing how that plays out.

    • Which one are you referring to? Could you please give us the name?

    • @yonan, I hope it’s something other than her majesties swarm, if you actually liked that one try playing(or replaying) starcraft series, just to observe that it was pretty much a hair short of Plagiarism

  • No comment yet?
Well I will give my review
This novel about Kingdom building, based on their nature (Evil/Good) with various race.
The MC start with a “Hero” unit, the weakest at early stage but become strongest the longer she deployed. His only resource is Mana to create facility and summon Minion.
Luckily they find a group of dark elves who were banished from their home. They lured by food and protection (since they were starving and has bounty on their heads).
At the end of story,MC found a clue that there are people who summoned to that world like him. (Probably same player)

Story – 4.5/5 (may biased because I like kingdom building story)
    World building – 4/5
Character – 3.5 (MC is on Evil side, but prefer calm and quite kingdom which is hypocrite.

Give it try, maybe you would like it

    • Reading your review makes me think this story is about a Dungeon Master game but scaled to kingdom size.
Does it have similairties with Dungeon Master stories?

“”Character – 3.5 (MC is on Evil side, but prefer calm and quite kingdom which is hypocrite.””
Being evil does not allways mean Chaos and Destruction. Order created by oppression can be quite a dystopia.
