really enjoying the academy arc so far with vol 14. a bit more humour and fun interactions which is always nice to read.
The LN is pretty interesting and enjoyable enough, its basically reversed the typical progression of fantasy LN (Combat and everything before some weird academy arc, etc) and the bits and bobs about “bad/evil” side characters being killed of in vicious ways as side-notes are kinda okay, if giving off a weird-ish vibe.
All in all, pretty decent read.
I just have some concerns regarding the next plot arc, which seems to have some sort of past/present/possible future mixing vibe.

I took my sweet time in getting to volume 13 and it turns out it’s basically a training volume -_- now don’t get me wrong it was good but it left me wanting for more. I guess we’re getting an academy arc 14 volumes into this series lol
The Academy stuff isn´t as bad as one might think especially the beginning is awesome. but it takes so damn long. The whole thing should easily go up to 30+ volumes and that will take soooooo long.

Yeah it just stops in the middle of a battle, for those who haven’t read 8 wait for the 9th volume.
Very much agree, 🙁 HOPE… They don’t do these in the future, like, Vol 9 was also “ok”. The Volume still felt like me finishing my first order, I order a second one and it never comes back. Still good, just some oof due to the page count going down I think. I’m concrete that they’ll be back with the “hello” and “goodbye” formula that they did on the majority of volumes.

Just some mindless fun with a cute catgirl. Really light read, doesn’t go too in depth with other characters other than the main two (sword and catgirl). Story is a pretty typical zero to hero, don’t under estimate me story. If you’re looking for in depth writing, this isn’t the book. If you’re looking for mindless fun, its what this book is written for. 6.5/10
